Customise with your own text! This illustration of a whimsical bear swatting at a swarm of bees in the forest appeared uncredited at the very end of Frederick Schwatka's "Nimrod of the North, or, Hunting and Fishing Adventures in the Arctic Regions," published 1885. The original had "The End" written in the swarm of bees, but this modified version has the words removed so you can add your own. (The drawing appears in its original form on other products in this store with the title "The End Bear.")

I'd been experimenting with transferring designs to other products when my wife noticed this old time metal lunchbox. I knew she wanted it thus I created a special one just for here with a couple of her favorite photos I'd taken. Excellent. The cloud image on the front is her favorite of the two. It was taken right off our back patio. The other image was in West Texas several years ago, wide open spaces and roads.

I had a problem with the first lunchbox they sent me because it had a smudge in the print, but fortunately they replaced it for free, no return and no questions asked. The second one turned out perfect. I especially love the color of the "baby blue" lunchbox. It is so beautiful and has a retro nostalgic hue. 5*'s!!!
