Discovered in 1959 by Turkish army Captain Ilhan Durupinar, the Durupinar Noah's ark site was researched by Ron Wyatt and others in the 1980s. This beautiful painting by a friend of the organisation, Rick Elway, captures the wild beauty of this place during the springtime in these mountains of Ararat as described in Genesis 8:4.
