Nodding Lotus - Thank You Card
This card features my pen and ink drawing 'Nodding Lotus'. I had photographed the lotus flowers at the Blue Lotus Water Garden in Yarra Junction, Victoria upon a visit with friends one summer. I had never seen lotus flowers in real life before and was stunned by their beauty. I even bought a plant to take to home which has since produced merry pink flowers for me. I love the rhythm of the line-work in this piece and the big, round leaves steal the show.
