About This Design

Occupation Mug

Occupation Mug

"The Channel Islands was not a 'Model Occupation.'" Break the myth with every sip. This mug challenges the deeply misleading idea that the German occupation of the Channel Islands was somehow easy, cooperative, or benign. The reality? Fear, resistance, hardship, and moral complexity. Calling it a “model occupation” erases the lived experience of those who endured it. Ideal for WWII historians, truth-seekers, and anyone ready to confront comfortable fictions. • 11 oz ceramic mug, made for strong coffee and stronger corrections • Microwave and dishwasher safe • A bold gift for history buffs, educators, and anyone who knows that nuance matters
