This card features a lighthouse standing tall and strong on the ocean coast. Fog and a ghost ship are creeping in, but the lighthouse protects the small dog looking up into the night. The illustration is from a poetry anthology, “Friends and Anemones: Ocean Poems for Children,” published by The Writers’ Loft, Sherborn, MA. The anthology is a fun and informative collection of original poems and art by over 70 New England authors and illustrators. I have a very close cousin, and she is all about bunnies. Do u know how hard it is to find bunnies in Halloween cards. She loved it and called me right away. Then a family member had to give her dads ponies to a rescue when he passed away. And they have been wonderful. So I wanted a Halloween card with horses. And I ended up with both.
