Cute baby orangutan is one of the rescued orphans at the OFI Care Centre in Borneo. Her name is Benjamine. Sales of items with this image support the rescue and raising of over 300 orphans. The founder of OFI has been working to save orangutans since the 1970's. (Check out the cover story on the October 1975 issue of National Geographic magazine) This infant was photographed at the famous Orangutan Foundation International Care Centre in Kalimantan - Indonesian Borneo. This gallery's profits go directly to the charity's headquarters to contribute to the efforts to save this endangered species, the gentle great ape found only on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo.
