Orangutan Orphans at OFI Island of Borneo Postcard

Orangutans are an endangered wildlife species whose dwindling habitat is the rainforest on the island of Borneo and Sumatra. These two sweet orphans are Steppenwolf and Melly, photographed by the OFI staff at the Care Centre in Indonesia. During the day, staff members take them out into rainforest playground areas to become comfortable with their natural surroundings. each evening they are brought back to the safety of sleeping areas.
