This drawing of an osprey with piercing yellow eyes that are always watching was inspired by a striking osprey that flew by and perched near by a tree branch while my family and I where hiking around a local lake. It was so beautiful, it looked so powerful and free. After doing some research I learned the osprey is a bird unique to its raptor family and also known as the King of Birds for it has thrived, for centuries, all over the world (except Antartica).
