The faith and devotion to Our Lady of Fátima unite the Portuguese and people from all over the world. The pilgrimage takes them to the sanctuary of Fátima every year, especially between May and October. This devotion was born in 1917. It is believed that Our Lady appeared to three children who were herding the family's sheep. There were six apparitions, every 13th, from May to October 1917. Lucia, aged 10, and her cousins Francisco, 9, and Jacinta, 7, are now called the Seers. thousands of people attracted by the miracle of Fatima. I created this illustration inspired by the Procession of Candles, which takes place there in the dark of night. Even those who are not religious recognise that it is beautiful to see so many lights as a manifestation of faith. It was made thinking about those who are devoted to Our Lady of Fatima. Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. I bought this for our own home. It turned out beautifully, and I would recommend it to anyone who has concerns about the quality of the product. The printing turned out perfect. I did have some concerns how printing would turn out. Would the colors be accurate to the original painting's colors ? Yes. Would the sides look right? Yes. Would the bend affect the presentation? No, it's beautiful.
I took these pictures hurriedly, on a dark, rainy day, and the room is not particularly light any time. Regretfully, the photos do not do justice to the artwork.
