Our Lady of Mount Carmel Baby Jesus Prayer Cushion
This is a beautiful custom designed religious image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the Baby Jesus holding the Brown Scapular. The prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel is an overly on the back of a lightened image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. All text and fonts can be modified. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel's Feast day is July 14. Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary in her role as patroness of the Carmelite Order. The first Carmelites were Christian hermits living on Mount Carmel in the Holy Land during the late 12th and early to mid-13th century. They built in the midst of their hermitages a chapel which they dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, whom they conceived of in chivalric terms as the "Lady of the place."

I LOVE this pillow! It sleeps with me every night; and yes, it gets and gives lots of hugs. I know I said it would be good for a Baby Shower up there, but it's good for little old ladies too! But I can truly see a child growing up with it and having a friend for life. It would get passed down from generation to generation. Truly a classic! This pillow is HUGE! I took a picture of it propped up in front of four queen-size pillows, and it covered them all. The artwork was even more beautiful than the photo indicates, both front and back. I was also surprised to find that these pillows are made by single mothers living in poverty, under the auspices of AMERICAN MOJO: Helping America Gets Its Mojo Back. That delighted me and made me love the pillow even more.
