Painted Ladies, San Francisco, United States Decorative Cushion

I've sketched all over the world for the last 20+ years (since 1999!), but it took a pandemic to finally ground me long enough to get me to sketch something in my own city! So, finally, introducing sketch #227 - San Francisco's beautiful Painted Ladies at Alamo Square (also called 'Postcard Row' or the 'Seven Sisters'), with the city's iconic skyline perfectly positioned in the background. Usually, when traveling, my sketches take about an hour, but since I have nothing else to do (no traveling!), and these beauties are right outside my door (relatively speaking), I took my time with this one, and finished it over 6 short trips to the park - any excuse to get out of the house for a little sun and fresh air!
