Complete with a handwritten New Year's sentiment, this vintage postcard dates back to 1908, when Palm Beach and the Breakers were the place to be seen for the rich and famous. Donkey powered trolleys were the rapid transit of the day.This high resolution scan of the original from my collection show a grand hotel in the background, which due to the angle of the photo is not easily identified.
