"Pandora" Greeting Card
Another piece from my Myths & Mermaids show at Pop Gallery Orlando at Downtown Pandora is a new painting based on the "Pandora's Box" myth. In my interpretation, she has already opened the box and behind her is a scene inspired by mediaeval monsters and demons along the lines of Hieronymus Bosch, Bruegel, and Huys (representing the evils of humanity released from the box). Amidst all the chaos, the last critter out of the box is "Hope" - which I have chosen to represent as a glowing butterfly. The butterfly and the innocence of Pandora's soulful dark eyes make this a painting of hope, despite the evils of the world. The original painting herself sold at the show, but I have prints, posters & other merchandise available!

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
