Papillon, Art Deco Dog Mouse Pad

Papillon, Art Deco Dog Mouse Pad Framed by a stepped Art Deco border, a Papillon sits in a lilac cape fastened at the throat. Butterfly ears and a fine face turn towards a domed conservatory draped in flowering vines, with a stair and pool below. The Papillon sits bright eyed and lively, dainty but confident, with ears spread like wings over the workspace. That sense of ceremony shapes the entire design. A radiant Art Deco sunburst breaks over the flowering glass dome, while the Papillon rests both front paws on the inner edge of the frame as if leaning over your desk. A stepped gold frame, corner star medallions, sunburst fans at top and base, and ruby-red lozenges turn the scene into a Jazz Age crest rather than a flat illustration. Deep green marble and a black border contrast with polished gold and ruby red, and the palette carries through in the lilac of the cape and the flowering vines. Stepped geometric lines, symmetrical corner ornament, and the portrait-and-landscape layout complete the Art Deco presentation on a classic mouse pad for Papillon lovers and Art Deco fans. • Papillon in a lilac cape • Butterfly ears, fine face, and a fringed chest • Radiant Art Deco sunburst over the flowering glass dome • Corner star medallions, sunburst fans, and a stepped gold frame • Part of the Art Deco Mouse Pad Collection
