About This Design

Paul Signac - Venice, The Pink Cloud Tile

Paul Signac - Venice, The Pink Cloud Tile

Venice, The Pink Cloud (Venise, le nuage rose), painted in 1909 in oil on canvas by French Neo-Impressionist painter Paul Signac. It looks from the Giudecca towards San Giorgio Maggiore beneath a glowing pink cloud and evening sky. Sailboats in the foreground catch green reflections as broad mosaic-like touches turn the lagoon into a luminous decorative seascape.

My fiancé and I were happy when we received the tile. It’s Peru and was worth paying extra for expressing postage. Good quality and it is exactly like we wanted it. We are very pleased.
