Look, ignore the TV, the real Peaky Blinders were not an organized gang. It was a term given to a type of lower working class person. They were not Edwardian, few of them fought the First World War, most of them deserted. They were a done deal by 1900 There were no razors in flat caps. The safety razor didn't get released until 1908 by which time they had disappeared from history. They were not glamorous gangsters, they were a blight on the communities they lived in. Let's stop worshipping them
