Persimmon & Fruit Tree Four Season Photograph Calendar

The persimmon still-life featured on this customisable calendar, is an original Polaroid 600 photo that was scanned, deconstructed and developed into a digital version of a block print, where each colour and tone of the fruit and branch is separated into spot colours, layered in Photoshop. The result is a reinterpretation of a photorealistic digital painting. The backyard fruit tree, from where the persimmons were picked, was photographed over a 12-month period. The images of budding leaves and fruiting persimmon correlate over time and months, with contemplative quotes and colour blocks that in whole, create a sublime calendar to enjoy throughout the year.
