Aw, it's Wee Shug The Scottish Pug, and he's feeling 'fair puggled'. I couldn't help laughing when I was painting him as he was looking so 'droll' as we say in Scotland. As soon as I realised he was Scottish, I started hearing him talking in a wee Glasgow Scottish accent! Shug is a Scottish term for a young lad, and also used as a pet name for guys called Hugh or Hughie. The name Hugh incidentally was brought to Scotland from Germany and means 'hug; - so you see Shug the Pug really does mean Hug the Pug!
