Pharaoh's Horses 1848 JF Herring, Sr Hi-Def Card
“Pharaoh’s Horses” by John Frederick Herring Sr, first exhibited in 1848. A three head studies of the grey Arabian stallion, Imaum, originally owned by Queen Victoria. She presented Imaum to her Clerk of the Royal Stables, who sold him to a British auction house and purchased by the artist J.F. Herring. Used as a model for many of his paintings, Herring kept him his whole life. A trainer was hired and this respected trainer said Imaun was the most brilliant horse he had ever worked known. Herring dearly loved Imaun. I remember seeing an old print of this in my maternal grandparents' farm house attic when I was a young boy. I do not know why but when I was a young boy I had horse statues and read books about horses including about the evolution of horses.

I really loved the quality of this product. Beautifully made and the choices were great. The first batch I ordered 75. I did find about four blank ones in the bunch but other than that I was very pleased. I went back and put on a second order. That order was complete. I love that they come with envelope as well. I was be vet pleased with my purchase. The photo was perfect, the colors of the cards matched well with the photo.

I didn't read the size of it as i ordered & it was bigger than I thought but in this case bigger was better. & it came in time for the memorial. The quality of these cards where amazing the cards were thick, very good quality & they looked beautiful. In the picture the color looks purple but they are a dark gray. Everyone loved them.
