Personally i always thought numbers should be rational. But, maybe I just don't "get it." (I've never been comfortable with imaginary numbers, either, but they say you can't do calculus without them. Well in case you're like me and it's just too much trouble to memorise this infinite series of digits, you can wear it on your shirt for easy reference. If you can't read backwards in a mirror either, just ask someone to read it to you.
