All artwork is done the old way using pencil or ink on paper and created from live studies in the woods on the artist's property or near her rural home in the Olympic Peninsula in Washington's Pacific Northwest. From a very early age, Shannon studied nature and began drawing and has spent the greater part of her lifetime appreciating the intricate connection between plants and mankind and how we affect them and how they affects us.
