We originally came up with the image of normal weighted dumbbells coloured in pink after a lively discussion about the tiny-tiny pink dumbbells we noticed in the gym, and NEVER used (a 1 pound weight, seriously?) Our fitness group even decided to call ourselves Pink Dumbbells, to enjoy the irony that so many of us work so hard and have a real dedication to fitness, but so many people envision women lifting weights with those tiny, pastel coloured "girly weights". In the end, it was about taking that image back, and making it into a real one about strong, dedicated, fit women working hard, and not being mocked by those little paperweights.

card was very nice and different and good quality. shipping way too expensive. much more than other on line card company. printing was fine. had a hard time with placement of words, as in the closing belonged on the right. also could not have two different size types to make the body larger and the opening and closing smaller.
