PL#238639 ©markyart 2017 I own this. My work continues to explore the relationship between Jungian archetypes and unwanted gifts. With influences as diverse as Dylan and Abstraction, tensions are generated from both constructed and discovered discourse. Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of meaning. What begins as triumph soon becomes debased into a dialectic of depression, leaving only a sense of failing and perhaps the chance of a new beginning. As spatial forms become transformed through experimentation dissonance, you may be left with a hymn to the darkness of our existence.
