About This Design
Playing a Prelude by Bach Magnet
This design features a painting by the British Jewish artist Simeon Solomon (1840–1905), who was associated with the Pre-Raphaelites. It shows a lady playing a piano-like keyboard instrument, perhaps a harpsichord. She is playing a prelude by the famous German composer of classical music Johann Sebastian Bach. The young woman is surround by a beautiful group of women and men dressed in open shirts and flowing gowns. They are intoxicated and inspired by the beauty of the music.

I absolutely love this magnet featuring one of my favourite characters, Beatrix, from my favourite comic Breaking Cat News. The saying on this magnet is timeless! Printing quality is superb.

I ordered thinking this was a New Zealand site (had a .co.nz address) not realising it was shipping from the UK. Have had to use other things for xmas presents as it's now Jan 2nd and they've still not arrived. I'll tell you if it ever gets here!
