Experience a pale winter morning on the Massachusetts coast in this soothing watercolor painting of Plymouth Light in Winter. Originally built in 1768, Plymouth Light was one of two lighthouses on Gurnet Point. The pictured octagonal pyramid tower was constructed in 1842 after the previous towers collapsed. To capture this historical landmark in the winter sun, the artist uses subtle shadows in grey and blue, artfully highlighting the structure’s unique architecture. It was easy to put in the text and it came out exactly how I wanted it to. So many styles to choose from that were lovely for a birthday invitation. Quality of invitation was great and overall very happy. Would definitely use again. It was what I expected but wished it did have glitter.
