Steampunk! This painting is an illustration for an upcoming book of short stories for which I am providing the illustrations. Her name is "Poe" - a character in the book - she has a steampunk flair, living in a neo-Victorian world combining fairytale whimsy with arcane technology. I've painted Poe in a fantastic scene, airship in the distance, bizarre clockwork gadgets and goggles in hand. Distant factories steam industry in the background, as Poe haunts the local trainstation. I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
