Poker Dogs: Pinched with Four Aces

This is the famous poker dog painting, "Pinched With Four Aces," by C.M. Coolidge. In this poker artwork, the "dog police" are about to raid the poker game, just as the orange bulldog is about to win with his four aces! C.M. Coolidge painted his famous "poker dogs" in the early 1900s for "Brown & Bigelow," who used Coolidge's images on their calendars and promotional material. His poker playing dogs were a huge hit then and they continue their popularity today.
