This Polar Holiday masterpiece was created by talented artist and CHOC patient Kaden. He was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease and has been treated at CHOC, since the age of 2-years old. He’s had three occurrence of Kawasaki Disease and in the past few years he’s been treated by CHOC’s thoracic surgical team for recurrent primary spontaneous pneumothorax. Kaden is a high school junior who is now in recovery and back to being active on his high school’s varsity track & field team, thanks to the special care he received at CHOC.
