This wonderful plate that I found in my grandmother's cabinet and that I remember her serving all sorts of fresh fruits -- Pears, Pineapples, Apples -- never a pomegranate. to us on the original of this plate. She bought it in the 40's or 50's in Turkey or Southern Europe, and to this day it is the plate I reach for first when I want a snack.
