A beautiful painting of red, pink and purple Poppy flowers #3 painted by Japanese artist Tanigami Konan (1879 - 1928). Konan is best known for 'bird and flower' paintings known as 'kacho-e'. Originally painted on woodblock. Poppies have vibrant and beautiful flowers, perfect for the flower bed or bordering the vegetable garden. This vintage floral Japanese art by Tanigami Konan was painted in 1917. Great artwork for the individual who is active in the local 'garden club'.
