## What Is a **#PopShove‑ItSkateboard?**
A **pop shove-it skateboard** refers to a setup optimised or branded around the iconic *pop shove-it* (also spelled "pop shuv‑it") trick. This move combines the mechanics of an ollie with the spinning action of a shove-it, resulting in a 180° board rotation underneath you while your body remains stationary ([Wikipedia][1], [skateboarding.fandom.com][2]).
---
## Why a #PopShove‑ItSkateboard Stands Out
### Designing for Spin Precision & Air Kentrelle:
* **Tail pop and scoop mechanics**: The tail is popped down and scooped backward in a motion that gives the board lift and spin—thanks largely to the back foot ([skate deluxe Skate shop][3], [skateboarding.com][4], [nollieskateboarding.com][5]).
* **Foot positioning**: Your front foot stays just below the front truck bolts, while your back foot scoops from the tail—this combo gives you both control and rotation precision ([skateboarding.fandom.com][2], [skateboarding.com][4], [safeskateboard.com][6]).
* **A clean, level board**: Ideal boards will maintain a flat orientation during rotation, thanks to that scoop-and-pop action ([Wikipedia][1], [skateboarding.fandom.com][7]).
---
## How to Land a Pop Shove‑It
Here’s a concise rundown based on trusted skateboarding guides:
1. **Set up** like an ollie:
* Front foot near front bolts.
* Back foot on tail with toes slightly over edge ([skateboarding.fandom.com][2], [sidewalkmag.com][8]).
2. **Pop and scoop**:
* Back foot pops and scoops the tail backward, spinning the board 180° ([skateboarding.com][4], [Skate The States][9]).
3. **Maintain balance**:
* Keep your body centred over the board and let your legs rise as the board spins ([skate deluxe Skate shop][3], [skateboards.com][10]).
4. **Catch and land**:
* Catch with the front foot over the bolts, then place the back foot, and land with bent knees for impact control ([skateboarding.com][4], [safeskateboard.com][6], [skateboards.com][10]).
---
## Design Features of a #PopShove‑ItSkateboard
**Deck & Flip Mechanics**:
* A **medium‑concave popsicle-style deck**—great for both popping and stability.
* **Tail design** that allows for a snappy scoop with your back foot.
**Foot Control Elements**:
* Subtle graphics or textured grip zones showing ideal foot placement for scooping and catching.
**Hardware Setup**:
* **Responsive trucks** that help maintain board orientation during rotation.
* **Wheels** around \~52 mm with sturdy **ABEC‑7/9 bearings** for consistent rollout and lightness mid-spin.
**Branding & Aesthetic**:
* Bold “#Pop Shove It” typography or motion-inspired graphics (like curved arrows tracing rotation).
* Visually emphasizes the motion—perfect for content, branding, and capturing the trick’s energy.
---
## What Skaters Say
From r/Braille Skateboarding, practical advice:
> “Pop Shove‑It tends to move forward… your back foot needs to be raised at the knee more. Pros always catch the Pop Shove‑It with their front foot… then place their back foot back on the board before landing.” ([Reddit][11])
This reinforces the trick’s focus on foot coordination and balance.

It's a new deck so it had no flaws it was a bit thick though the plies would be a thinner but it's fine as a starter board. The print came out a little stretched and the color was swapped kinda
The light greens where swapped with white same goes for some of the light blues but overall it was cool
