Port Quin Cornwall England Poldark Location Jigsaw Puzzle
The tiny cove and harbour of Port Quin was used extensively in the filming of the original series of Poldark in the 1970s. It was transformed into Sawle Village and was also the location of the wrecking scene Doyden Castle above the cove was used as Dwight Enys’ house and one of the cottages shown here was used for filming Andrew Blamey’s house. A sad legend surrounds Port Quin in that it is believed that the hamlet was abandoned after a terrible storm when all the menfolk who were out in their boats fishing perished in one night. The picture quality is fantastic on these puzzles. They have a high gloss finish and look fantastic. My only complaint is that there is a lot of movement with the pieces compared to regular cardboard pieces. Once compelted there is still a lot of play and pieces can move out of place. The puzzle says 8x10 But was about 1/4, 1/8 shorter on either end. Yes there are some concerns but I would definitely order another puzzle. Print and finish were great
