This is a colourized photograph of a vintage, black and white portrait Lt. General James Longstreet. It also appears in "The Generals at Fredericksburg" calendar available at Zazzle. Longstreet saw action at the First Battle of Bull Run, Seven Pines, Seven Days, Second Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Chickamauga, Knoxville, the Wilderness, Petersburg, and the Appomattox Campaign. He died in 1904 at the age of 82. This portrait includes the general in a grey uniform, with brass buttons, gold insignia collar and a highlighted, black background.
