Posse Gets Outlaw 1893 - Visalia California Poster

The Sontag Brothers were accomplished train robbers in California. After several gunfights with the Law, their notoriety garned the largest manhunt in California history. Marshall George Gard, his posse, 300 armed civilians, and a bunch of bounty hunters scoured the San Joaquin Valley for the desperados, finally cornering them in a cabin and thus ensued the Gunfight at Stone Corral. John Sontag, shown wounded in the photo, was taken into custody and died a few days later. His accomplice was captured and did a lengthy term at Folsom Prison.

I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
