This painting, called "Kittens Playing with Beetles" was painted by the Austrian artist Carl Reichert (1836-1918). Reichert painted genre, Austrian city views, and animals. He was most noted for his fine portrayal of animals. His first lessons were most likely given to him by his father, who was a portrait and animal painter. Reichert studied under Joseph Turner and Ernst C. Moser.

This car is made of good card stock. The silhouette of a winged cat with a halo was just perfect as a kitty remembrance for me. My cat was aptly named Angel Puss so this card really spoke to me. The print quality was excellent and the sentiment surely fits the card's purpose.
