Steven Sabol commissioned me to design a logo for the Potomac River Sacred Harp Singing Convention in 1995, when the celebration coincided with the 150th anniversary of The Sacred Harp tune book. In 1996, he asked me to design a more permanent logo for the "PRC." I was still relatively new to Sacred Harp. Steven took a hands-on approach to the project, which was a good thing, because initially I had the "fa' note-head upside-down. The completed design is dedicated solely for the use of the Potomac River Sacred Harp Singing Convention, but anyone may wear the pin! © 1995 Miriam A Kilmer
