They are wearing iconic clothing, including Abe’s top hat and Mary Todd’s dress. This dress was made by Mary Todd Lincoln’s dressmaker, Elizabeth Keckly, and is now on display at the Smithsonian Institution. Elizabeth Keckly was an African American, former slave, expert seamstress, and author.
