President Teddy Roosevelt poses in the White House in his favourite rocker by the fireplace. This is from a vintage stereoview photograph card. Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States (1901–1909). He was born in New York City. He survived an assassination attempt in during the 1912 campaign in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and while still bleeding minutes later famously said, "It takes more than that to kill a bull moose." Image has been restored by Scenesfromthepast.net.
