Pretty Pink Vintage Roses Card

This water colour painting is the "Admiral Dewey Rose" painted in watercolor in approximately 1904 by French flower painter and rose illustrator, Paul de Longpre. He was born in France and had a passion for painting unblemished flowers, especially roses. He eventually moved to America to Los Angeles in approximately 1902 where he painted his flowers from his magnificent garden.
