Print: "The Mystic Nativity" by Sandro Botticelli "The Mystic Nativity" was painted by Italian Renaissance master painter Sandro Botticelli, circa 1500-1501. Of all Botticelli's paintings, this is the only one he signed. It is an oil painting on canvas and it is in the collection of the National Gallery in London. Botticelli believed himself to be living during the Tribulation, possibly due to the upheavals in Europe at the time, and was predicting Christ's Millennium as stated in Biblical text." We have restored this painting and have slightly brightened the faded colours of the original.
