Now, listen. Checklists can be great, but they can also be used to beat yourself up. The truth is that no one has to be perfect! Everyone is fine just as they are. Being fine has nothing to do with what skills we have or don't have at the moment. We are all sacred, precious human beings, children of the universe. It's just that we all like to grow and develop, and in the realm of language learning, these are terrific habits to build. Be excited every time you get to check something off the list, and if there are boxes you don't get to check, just say to yourself, "oh, well, something to shoot for next week!"
