PRR Streamliner Spirit of St. Louis T-Shirt

From www.railphotoexpress.biz The Spirit of St. Louis was a named passenger train on the Pennsylvania Railroad and its successors. The Penn Central Railroad and Amtrak. It ran between Penn Station New York and St. Louis, Missouri. The Pennsylvania Railroad introduced the Spirit of St. Louis on June 15, 1927, replacing the New Yorker (eastbound) and St. Louisian (westbound); that September its schedule was 24 hr 50 min each way. The Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Train honoured the aeroplane Spirit of St. Louis In the 1950's The Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Train Spirit of St. Louis became an all Pullman Car Streamliner. The PRR Spirit of St. Louis Passenger Train remained in service through the inception of Amtrak, disappearing from the timetable in July 1971. It was replaced by the National Limited.
