There are a few different types of purple grasshoppers from various parts of the world. The purple winged grasshopper has purple wings and green body. The purple coloration in grasshoppers in the United Kingdom is a rare genetic mutation called erythrism, this condition has also been observed in birds and leopards. Not everyone loves insects, but this unusual coloration of grasshopper makes it into my list for rarity and it's quite a beautiful colour. This particular image may look good in a study or office. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
