About This Design

Pyrite Mineral Crystal Structure iPhone 16 Case

Bridge science and art with this trendy design featuring a pyrite (FeS2) mineral and its crystal structure. At left is a scientifically accurate unit cell within the white crystal lattice, graphically designed with additional atoms outside the unit to highlight the octahedral structure around the iron centres. At right is a pyrite mineral image. These designs are a part of my (Dr. Marissa's) initiatives to make science, especially chemistry, more approachable and understandable for broader audiences.
