Quid Pro Quo, Word of the Year T-Shirt

Impeached President Donald Trump added a new word to his limited 4th-grade education vocabulary this year, "quid pro quo". The term quid pro quo has been used to describe the president’s controversial offer to the Ukrainian government, which ultimately lead to his impeachment in 2019. Quid pro quo is a Latin phrase used in English to mean an exchange of goods or services, in which one transfer is contingent upon the other; "a favor for a favor". Phrases with similar meanings include: "give and take", "tit for tat", "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours", "something for something", and "one hand washes the other".
