R9 Prairie Rattlesnake Square Paper Coaster

This image of a prairie rattlesnake also known as the pale Montana rattlesnake it is not as dangerous as other rattlesnakes like the diamond back and copperhead. They have a nerve poison that can be deadly, the prairie rattler has a coagulating venom that is very rarely fatal, although it is very painful. This one was average size, about 3 to 4 feet long, but I have seen them reach just over 6 foot. This one was quite annoyed with me and is coiled up and ready to strike if a get too close. This photo was taken by Flatlandersam in south east Alberta, Canada.
