Racoon Close-Up Card

This juvenile racoon bandit looks up from his lunch, mouth still open, to wish you happy birthday. The photograph shows a close-up of his face snuggled between the furry grey sides of his mother and sibling. The little dark eyes twinkle out at you from the black mask that runs across his face, with white whiskers, like a cat's, standing out against the black. White stripes show above and below the eyes, and the black nose starts a vertical black stripe running up the forehead to the black head. His little black ears are outlined in white. One little dark forepaw, just like a hand, is at his mouth ready to pop in a bit of cat food. Against the blurred background are written the words, "Happy Birthday!" in white script. He and his family of Mum and two siblings have come for a hand-out at my sister's house in Ocean Shores, WA. Copyright Gail Storrs 2011.
