Racoon Valentine Card

This lonesome racoon is standing up on its hind legs with one front paw stretched out to the viewer beseechingly. The little dark eyes twinkle out at you from the black mask that runs across his face, with white whiskers, like a cat's, standing out against the black. White stripes show above and below the eyes, and the black nose starts a vertical black stripe running up the forehead to the black head. The little black ears are outlined in white. The paws, tummy and what we can see of the back are grey, with a line of darker grey down the rump, and a bit of black and grey striped tail peeking out behind. It stands against a background of green salal bushes and lighter green grass, which meets the concrete patio in about the middle of the image. Against this background are written the words, "You Are the One" in white lettering. It is looking for lovet at my sister's house in Ocean Shores, WA. Copyright Gail Storrs 2011.
