Reading Lines Alco Century C-630 #5308 is owned by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society. The Locomotive was Built by The American Locomotive Co.,(ALCO),in Schenectady, NY, September 1967. It is rated at 3000 Horsepower. The Alco Century Reading Lines Locomotive shown in excursion service, with A Big cloud of Alco Smoke, in Jim Thorp Pennsylvania, on The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. The former CNJ Railroad Station is in the background next to the Lehigh Gorge State Park. The railway is operated by The Reading Blue Mountain And Northern Railroad.
