The Locomotive was Built by The American Locomotive Co.,(ALCO),in Schenectady, NY, September 1967. It is rated at 3000 Horsepower. The Alco Century Reading Lines Locomotive shown in excursion service, with A Big cloud of Alco Smoke, in Jim Thorp Pennsylvania, on The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway.The former CNJ Railroad Station is in the background next to the Lehigh Gorge State Park.
